Investment Immigration

Quebec Investment Immigration is currently the only immigration program that can lead to permanent residency by passive investment in Canada. Passive investment means that it is not active, which means it does not require active operation and it does not need the applicants to manage the business by themselves. There is no language requirement and no age requirement. Applicants need to legally hold 2 million Canadian dollars in net assets and make an investment by the program. This investment is guaranteed by the Quebec government.

1. Eligibility Criteria 

• Foreign national at least 18 years old; 
• Have, alone or with your accompanying spouse, or de facto spouse, net assets of at least $2,000,000 CAN obtained legally, excluding any amounts received by donation less than six months before the date on which the application was filed;
• Have experience in management in a legal farming, commercial or industrial business, or in a legal professional business where the staff (excluding the investor) occupy at least the equivalent of two full-time jobs, or with an international agency or a government or one of its departments or agencies;
• Intend to settle in Québec and sign an agreement to invest $1,200,000 CAN with a financial intermediary (broker or trust company) authorized to participate in the Investor Program.

2. We offer Financing  

You do not need to put the full $1,200,000 CAN aside to keep until the end of 5 years. Royal Consultant offers a complete financing service for your application with one of the approved financial institution in Quebec.  Our Client will pay a *reduced amount, which is used to finance a CA$ 1,200,000 closed five-year term loan from a chartered bank. No further payment is required.

3. Process

• Submit application of CSQ under investor category with government fee
• Notice of interview or additional documents required
• Interview
• CSQ Approval
• Transfer of funds upon CSQ Approval within 110 days of the either in full or a reduced amount
• Issuance of CSQ
• Application of Permanent Resident
